Hi, I'm Selam, a 22-year-old Digital Product Designer with a passion for creating meaningful, human-centered designs. I studied Digital Product Design and Development at Hochschule für Gestaltung, where I explored the intersection of design and technology to bring ideas to life.
As a digital produktdesigner, I focus on combining UX/UI design, branding, user research, and prototyping. Whether designing intuitive interfaces, building physical prototypes, or exploring new ideas, curiosity and creativity guide my process. During my studies, I've worked on projects in agriculture, fashion, e-commerce, and smart home technologies, balancing creative problem-solving with technical execution. At Robert Bosch GmbH, I gained experience in research and design, contributing to projects ranging from wireframes and prototypes to AI-driven applications.
When I'm not working, I enjoy staying creative with arts and crafts like sketching, painting, or exploring graphic design. Trying out new styles and ideas helps me stay inspired. I also love staying active, whether I'm at the gym, spending time in nature, playing sports with friends, or strumming my ukulele. Traveling is another big source of inspiration for me. Recent trips to Japan and Canada introduced me to new cultures, flavors, and perspectives.
I'm driven by the variety in my work. My ability to move seamlessly between disciplines, researching user needs, designing beautiful and functional interfaces, and prototyping innovative solutions sets me apart. This versatility allows me to tackle challenges holistically, always with the bigger picture in mind.
